Ο πρώτος του προσωπικός δίσκος «Γένεσις», μετά από την κυκλοφορία του σε Ελλάδα, Κωνσταντινούπολη, Γερμανία, Αρμενία, Τσεχία, Αίγυπτο, Κύπρο και Αυστραλία, κυκλοφορεί και στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο, περιλαμβάνοντας δέκα δικές του οργανικές συνθέσεις. Πρωταγωνιστικό ρόλο στην μουσική του έχει η μελωδία και το πιάνο! Η μουσική του έχει μεταδοθεί από τηλεοπτικούς και ραδιοφωνικούς σταθμούς της Αμερικής, Αυστραλίας, Καναδά και Ευρώπης, ενώ επιπρόσθετα οι εφημερίδες «Εθνικός Κήρυξ» στην Νέα Υόρκη, «The Montreal Greek Times» στο Μόντρεαλ, «Ο Κόσμος» στο Σύδνεϋ και η «China Greece Times» (Ελληνο-Κινεζική εφημερίδα), έχουν αναφερθεί στο καλλιτεχνικό έργο του συνθέτη. Έχει παρουσιάσει ζωντανά τις συνθέσεις του στο Μέγαρο Μουσικής Αθηνών, στο Φεστιβάλ «Η Ξάνθη του Μάνου Χατζιδάκι», στο Aegean Arts International Festival Κρήτης, στο Poros Arts Festival, ενώ επιπλέον έχει συνθέσει μουσική για θεατρικές παραστάσεις και για την Επίσημη Διαφημιστική Καμπάνια του Συλλόγου «Ο Καλός Σαμαρείτης-Κακοποιημένης Γυναίκας και Παιδιού». Η σύνθεση του «Γένεσις» έχει πλαισιώσει μέρος της τηλεοπτικής εκπομπής «Με Αρετή και Τόλμη» στην ΕΡΤ1 σε σκηνοθεσία Τάσου Μπιρσίμ. «Πιστεύω» του είναι πως «δεν επιλέγει ο δημιουργός την στιγμή της έμπνευσης αλλά η έμπνευση είναι αυτή που επιλέγει το πότε και αν θα έρθει στο δημιουργό». He has presented his compositions in Megaron-The Athens Concert Hall, in the festival “Manos Xatdjidakis” in Xanthi, in “Aegean Arts International Festival” in Crete, in Poros Arts Festival, while he has also composed music for the Official Advertising Campaign of the Association “The Good Samaritan-of the Abused Woman and Child” and theatrical performances. His composition “Genesis” has framed part of the television show “Me Areti kai Tolmi” (With Virtue and Boldness) on the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation (ERT 1), directed by Tasos Birsim. Giorgos Volikas believes that it is not the music composer that chooses the moment of inspiration, but rather it is the inspiration that chooses if and when it will reach the music composer.
